Cancellation conditions

What are the hotel's cancellation policy?

 

Standard rates

Up to 30 days before arrival there is the possibility of free cancellation, within 30 days before arrival and in the event of early departure the cancellation fee is 100% of the holiday price.

 

Non-refundable prepayment instalments

The total amount must be paid. Full advance payment when booking, after that no cancellation or rebooking is possible. In the event of cancellation, no-show or rebooking, the cancellation fee for this discounted rate is 100% of the booked service. No refund can be made.

The cancellation conditions apply irrespective of whether the cancelled rooms are re-let in full or in part.

The right of cancellation according to § 11 Para. 1 FAAG does not apply.

Arrival and departure

When is check-in and check-out in the room?

 

Your room is available for occupancy from 3.00 pm. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the rooms by 10:30 a.m. If you would like to use the hotel facilities longer on the day of your departure, we charge € 30 per person for the late check-out (incl. lunchtime soup and afternoon snack). Please always let the reception know about these requests in good time.

Prepayment rate

What is the prepayment rate?

 

The prepayment rate is a discounted rate that must be paid within 24 hours of booking and cannot be cancelled or rebooked without exception.

Please note that bookings made at the prepayment rate CANNOT be combined with vouchers, discounts or promotions.

How should the deposit be paid?

 

We request a deposit of 20% of the total price of your reservation to be paid into the following account:

Dogs

Are dogs/pets allowed in the hotel?

 


Dogs are welcome to stay with you upon prior arrangement, but they are not allowed in all rooms. Please let us know when you make your booking so that we can reserve the right room for you and your pet.


Dog fee: €25.00 per day/dog (including dog basket and small welcome gift).
Please note: Dogs are allowed in parts of the restaurant area (fireplace hall, terrace, bar), but for hygiene reasons they are not allowed in any other areas of the restaurant, especially the buffet area and the wellness area.

Conditions

What are the booking conditions at the Eschenhof?

 

All listed prices are per person and day including  ¾ Organic gourmet board and the 80 and more Eschenhof Alpine Slowness services. Prices include all taxes and duties, excluding local tax (€ 3.90 per adult from 16 years and day). The local tax is a statutory charge. Changes are subject to confirmation – the rate applicable at the time of departure will be charged.

Children's prices are available from 2 full-paying adults in a double room or family apartment.

 

Smoking

Is there a smoking area in the hotel?

 

Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel! We kindly ask you not to smoke in your rooms or on the balconies. For smokers we have set up small "smoking islands" in front of the hotel and on the terrace. If you do not comply with the smoking ban, we will charge a flat rate of EUR 250.00 for additional cleaning.

Travel insurance

Do you need travel insurance?

 

We recommend taking out travel insurance, which you can easily take out online. If you do not want to take out travel insurance online, we will be happy to take care of your optimum protection. We will provide you with information about the premium upon your inquiry and arrange your travel insurance for your booking.

 

The travel cancellation insurance must be booked when reserving the room and will be invoiced on your departure. This covers all cancellation costs in the event of an accident, illness or death of the insured person, children, parents or grandparents. Of course, we need written confirmation in each case.

Payment methods

What payment methods are accepted?

 

You can pay your hotel bill in cash in euros, with an EC card or credit card (AMEX, VISA and Master Card).

Can you request a specific room?

 

The Eschenhof is a “naturally grown” house. It is therefore unfortunately not always possible for us to give you a binding confirmation of the floor, location and room number within a specific category. Please note that deviations from the images and floor plans shown are possible within a category.

Parking

Are there parking spaces available at the hotel?

 

Free parking spaces are available directly at the hotel.

Does the hotel have its own restaurant?

 


Yes, our in-house restaurant for hotel guests serves regionally inspired, certified organic cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. Enjoy seasonal specialities prepared with care. Options are also available for specific dietary requirements, such as vegetarian or gluten-free meals..

What environmental protection measures does the hotel implement?

Electric charging station

Are there any electric charging stations?

 

Yes, Ortners Eschenhof has electric charging stations for cars and e-bikes. There is also an e-bike charging station at the Maibrunnhütte – right on the Flow-Country Trail – at the top station of the Maibrunnbahn.
