The Armada: MS Kärnten, MS Seeboden, MS Millstatt, MS Aribo
Special Tip: Take a hike from Döbriach along the south side of the lake to the „Laggerbucht“ (walking time about 1 hour). Board the ship and complete the excursion around the lake via Seeboden – Millstatt to Döbriach.

The best route: Bad Kleinkirchheim – Radenthein –Spittal – Obervellach – Winklern – Heiligenblut. It takes about 2 hours to Heiligenblut and about ½ hour from there to the Franz Josef's Höhe.

Through the middle of the fantastic alpine world of the Tauern, the Malta-Hochalm-Strasse leads you to the Kölnbrein Dam.
Special Tip: In the restaurant at the Kölnbrein Dam you will find various exhibitions (free entry) a treasury chamber - exhibition of minerals, guided tour into the 200m high dam, local Carinthian specialties in the Mountain Restaurant Malta.
The best route: Bad Kleinkirchheim – Radenthein – Spittal – freeway A10 towards Salzburg – exit Gmünd – towards Maltatal. Driving time about 1 ½ hours.

The interesting fortress museum, as well as the outstanding facilities with the 14 castle gates are an exceptional carinthian rarity.
Special Tip: you can take the elevator from the first gate up to the fortress, fortress restaurant. On your way to the fortress, take a side trip to the Längsee. the restaurant Ligl is worth a special stop.
The best route: Bad Kleinkirchheim – Patergassen – Feldkirchen – St. Veit – Glandorf – St. Donat – Fortress Hochosterwitz. Driving time about 1 hour
